Four different mounting styles, same great features
Simple Telephone Selection and Installation
- From 1 to 10 SUREphones can share a single telephone line, minimizing installation cost and monthly telephone line billing.
- Built-in Concentrator feature allows call-back access to an individual telephone or to all phones on the line from any outside telephone.
- The SUREphone operates under any telephone line condition due to AC
power. Battery back-up provides four hours of emergency power in case of
AC interruption. Optional power input allows telephone to run on a 12 VDC, or 24 VDC emergency power system.
Simple Programming
- Programmable features can be conveniently set or modified:
- Off-site before the installation
- On-site at the time of installation
- Remotely from any touch-tone telephone, anywhere
- Remote programming commands can be applied to an individual SUREphone or simultaneously to all sharing a telephone line.
- Interactive, voice prompted guidance for each programming step ensures easy, accurate, and complete programming, even for the first time user.
- Non-volatile memory using EEPROM technology allows programming of emergency telephone numbers and voice announcements months in advance of installation or telephone line activation without risk of memory loss.
- Built-in keypad allows programmable features to be conveniently set or modified without extra parts or tools.
100% ADA Code Compliant Features
- Voice activated location announcer with two 16 second messages can be recorded to give the location of the emergency in case occupants cannot confirm the emergency verbally. The answering party can replay these messages simply by touch-tone.
- Five number autodialer will sequentially dial each of the programmed numbers if there is no answer or it gets a "busy" signal.
- Hands-free operation with a lighted push-button which can be flashed to alert occupants that help is on the way.
- Braille plates with raised lettering for ADA compliance.
- On-time can be set for 1 to 99 minutes, or disabled for unlimited on-time. Automatically shuts-off when the called party hangs up, or can be shut off by touch-tone.
- FCC, IC and ETL (UL and CSA equivalent) approved.
Operation
- A single press of the push-button activates the unit, and lights the visual indicator.
- The SUREphone dials the programmed emergency telephone number(s) automatically. If the number called is busy or there is no answer, the unit will cycle through the programmed emergency telephone numbers.
- When the called party answers, the Voice Announcement automatically plays the recorded message; then two-way communication begins. The visual indicator can also be made to flash by the called party to indicate that help is on the way.
- When the call is completed, the SUREphone will shut off automatically (or can be remotely shut off).
- SUREphones can be called back to establish two-way communication from any telephone at any time.
